The Grantmaking Process

Chinook's grantmaking process at work. A committee of activists and community members decides which organizations to fund. The committee works hard to ensure that Chinook channels resources to the most effective, cutting edge social change organizations in the state.

Social Justice Education

We believe that racism, sexism, heterosexism, classism and ableism are severely damaging people, the progressive movement, and society at large. Dismantling oppression requires that we acknowledge its existence and power.
