Use of Funds: It allowed us to build leadership in the community by funding a social media intern and to help with a statewide awareness campaign about un/underserved victims of violence. It allowed our organization to simultaneously build leadership and capacity, reach those who are often not reached with messages of accompaniment (you are not alone), solidarity (it is not your fault), and current and correct information that keeps people safe or connects them to culturally and linguistically specific services and healing circles.
