Mission: To co-create spaces for land-based healing, cultural knowledge exchange, and community abundance by centering the wisdom and lived experiences held in our communities of color. The Abolition Garden engages people who have been systemically marginalized, especially youth, through culturally-affirming education, traditional land stewardship practices, and collective care. By reclaiming traditional practices around land, identity, and healing, they strengthen connections between people and place in Globeville and Elyria-Swansea while nourishing the community and building lasting resilience.
