SCD Enrichment Program – $4,000

Location: Denver, CO

Mission: The mission of SCD Enrichment Program is to recruit more students of color advanced coursework. At many schools statewide and nationally, students of color are significantly underrepresented in advanced and gifted programs. Our goal is to change this systemic issue by providing an enrichment program for more students to take advantage of the great benefits of honors, Gifted and Talented, concurrent enrollment, IB and AP courses. At SCDEP, we are changing the narrative so that students of color can feel supported and well-prepared for advanced coursework in their future. We support students of color by providing cultural education and mentor support, and advocacy.
