Another World is Possible Fund supports Fortaleza Familiar in outreach, training, and education to support young people in North Denver and Commerce City in the wake of COVID-19. This includes attending and hosting webinars, social media campaigns to respond to the crisis, including digital literacy skills. Funds will also be used for strategic planning and fundraising.

Mission: The mission of Fortaleza Familiar is to organize Indigenous Chicanx Latinx youth through education to connect with and reclaim the health of their body, mind, and spirit. Fortaleza Familiar is an intergenerational peer-led program that is culturally and linguistically relevant that centers on the emotional health of Latinx youth and families. We are committed to supporting the wellness, health, and resilience of LGBTQ Latinx young people.
