Mission: Denver Metro Tenants Union is a constituent-led organization that builds the capacity of diverse tenant communities to win material changes where we live while drawing connections between these immediate issues and the systemic contexts in which they are rooted. We shift power in favor of tenants who are systemically disenfranchised at intersections of race, class, gender, disability, and immigration status. To that end, we are led by tenants most impacted by housing injustice and believe the power we build is composed of our relationships with each other. Because housing injustice is rooted in anti-Black and white supremacist structures, we all have a stake in building a BIPOC-led, anti-racist, and multi-racial housing justice movement.
