Location: Durango, CO
Use of Funds: We assisted ~800 immigrants directly with our programs and services, and indirectly impacted another ~3,000 (1,000 latinx students in the school district and and ~2,000 immigrant/latinx residents of our county who benefited from our organizing to improve the school district and local government). Highlights include helping our members apply for and receive over $200,000 in financial assistance through immigrant-focused economic assistance programs, helping hundreds get vaccinated, and helping the 220 residents of a low income trailer park organize to form a cooperative and buy their own park.
