Centro Humanitario Para Los Trabajadores has been building a foundation to campaign for a Domestic Workers’ Bill of Rights in Colorado. Formed in 2002, El Centro provides support for workers in Metro Denver by providing trainings and co-facilitating a Task Force to fight for legislation reform at the state level. Since its formation, over 1,500 workers have accessed El Centro’s programs, including countless employment and self-improvement opportunities that directly benefit low-income laborers, domestic workers, and immigrants.
