The school to prison pipeline is a terrible reality in Denver for communities of color. Chinook Fund is proud to fund the Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP), working to interrupt this pipeline with the only restorative justice program available to juveniles who appear before Denver county court. The 69 youth who completed the RESTORE program in 2012 were half as likely to re-enter the justice system than youth who did not complete the program.
