Mission: Líderes Latinx, a fiscally sponsored initiative of the Lake County Community Fund, is a grassroots, volunteer-led organization committed to advancing equity and social justice for Latinx and immigrant communities in rural Colorado. Our mission is to elevate Latinx leadership, support immigrant integration, and ensure that historically marginalized communities are seen, heard, and empowered through culturally relevant programming, advocacy, and civic engagement.
We support Spanish-speaking residents in navigating systems such as healthcare, housing, education, and employment, while fostering leadership and self-advocacy. Our work includes legal and emergency assistance through the Justice & Advocacy Fund, culturally rooted mental health workshops for women, Spanish-language civic forums, and community celebrations that honor cultural heritage.
