Mission: The mission of the Denver Educational Equity Project (DEEP), hosted by The Ancestry Research Training Project, is to ensure that every student, regardless of their ethnic background or zip code, has access to a high-quality education. We are dedicated to addressing disparities in educational resources and opportunities, advocating for policies that promote fairness and inclusion, and empowering parents—primarily parents of color—to actively participate in transforming the Denver Public Schools (DPS) education system. Through collaboration among students, parents, educators, and community leaders, we aim to create a more equitable and just educational environment where all children can thrive and achieve their full potential. DEEP is a grassroots initiative.
