Food to Power – $5,000

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Use of Funds: These funds would Food to Power bolster resilience. As an organization that operates at the frontlines in times of economic crises, FTP staff have felt the impacts of increased pandemic-induced stress over the last two years. FTP is working to mitigate burnout by adding staff, while also working to retain and cultivate organizational culture through proper onboarding, training, & benefits. However, we know that beyond hiring and culture cultivation, rest is a necessary ingredient to any resilient organization and organism. Grant funds from Chinook’s Another World is Possible Fund allow Food to Power to offer opportunities for staff to engage in self care and rest to promote their physical/mental/emotional/spiritual wellness.
