Youth Organizing
What does it Mean?
Supporting the development of young people to address root causes of systematic problems in their communities by employing the skills of community organizing and policy advocacy to create healthy environments. Mobilizing to help strengthen youth voices on issues that matter most to them and to build the capacity of youth programs and schools to support youth-led organizing efforts.

- 2012 – RISE Colorado engages families and students to organize and build coalition to impact public education for students in Aurora.
- 1993 – Present – VORP of Denver provides programs using trainined facilitators, community members, and victim impact panel speakers to engage the curiosty, elicit the empathy and provide new skills to youth to make different choices in the future.
